classwork assignments
This page will always have this week's lesson on top and all of our past lessons below it. I will post everything we do week-to-week so you can keep track of the things you might have been absent for- or maybe you just need to finish an assignment for homework and would like to remember the directions! It is your responsibility as my student to use this page at home, on your iPad, iPod, or your phone to keep up with your missed assignments. Every student only has 48 hours to make up any missed work.

**Makeup day for Presentation Projects**
Journal Notes: "Ocean Energy Recap" we took notes on Mrs. Dixon's Prezi about harnessing energy from the ocean.
Foldable: "What does pollution look like?" On one half of a sheet of blank printer paper, draw a polluted beach scene that shows ALL types of pollution you can think of. Nuclear Power as a Political Target
In class we became aware that power plants (nuclear and ocean) can become the target of terror attacks. How scary would your life become without electricity (power)? An interesting and terrifying youtube video (thanks to Nick C!) shows us how things might happen if terrorists did attack our nuclear power plants. Another great reason to diversify our resources to ocean energy and plan to have backup power ready for our nation to survive!
